Leg Definition - Prolix durus (quads)

As with patellar quad profusion, prolix durus is a form of desirable muscle definition, that occurs without flexing.

Interestingly, it is the opposing action of PQP. In PQP the person stands, the leg is straight, the knee hyperextending slightly. In PDQ the person kneels, the leg is closed. The quad is stretched to its length limit (prolix) and feels firm (durus) despite working little if at all.

The desired definition appears mainly from two factors - quad volume and low subcutaneous fat in the thighs and hips.
